No, these are original, vintage hankies. |

What do you consider vintage? |
| A: |
Most of our hankies are from the 1930’s, 40’s, and 50’s
when they were most popular. Hankie production was reduced with the invention
of Kleenex in the mid 1900’s. |

Are there ever two hankies and pillows just
alike? |
| A: |
Occasionally we may find two hankies just alike. We always, however, use
different background fabrics and/or different vintage buttons on each design
so no two pillows are ever exactly alike. Each pillow is one of a kind. |

What are the backs of the pillows? |
| A: |
The backs of the pillows are usually a solid color, fine cotton fabric
coordinated with the fabric and hankie on the front of the pillow. Sometimes
the back is the same fabric as a loose flange that may surround certain
style pillows. The backs are “envelope style” allowing for removal
of the sham for cleaning. |

Why do you use the more expensive feather and
down inserts? |
| A: |
Feather and down inserts are more plush and fitting to the soft style
of the vintage pillows. We feel these pillows should have a looser look
and more comfortable feel than when using polyester or foam inserts. We
do recognize, however, that allergies prohibit use of feather and down for
some individuals so we offer our pillow shams for sale without the feather
and down inserts as well. |

How should I clean the pillow shams? |
| A: |
These pillow shams should ALWAYS BE DRY CLEANED. Old dyes are usually
stable on the hankies but this cannot be guaranteed. Dry cleaning also helps
preserve the condition and avoids shrinkage of the vintage linens. |

Do you have other pillows available besides

YES! We have many finished pillows readily available and hundreds of hankies
yet to be constructed into pillows. |

for and which of our category styles it may fit into. Let us know if you
are looking for certain colors, particular flowers, or perhaps a particular
children’s theme or nursery rhyme. We will contact you with other

Absolutely! Just contact us with an idea of what you are looking for or
if you want us to possibly begin with a fabric you already have or select
a hankie and fabric to work with existing fabrics in a room. |

sure of the person’s taste, color scheme, etc? |

Easy! Give an Everlastings Pillows Gift Certificate! We will send a certificate
for the amount you specify along with a lovely photo of some of our pillows
and directions to our website. The recipient could have the pleasure of
choosing a pillow for themselves and you are assured they are delighted with
the selection! They may, of course, add on to the dollar amount you have
given if their choice exceeds the amount of the certificate. |
